Prerequisites

Minimum diver level to take part in the PADI Advanced Open Water Course is PADI Junior Open Water Diver (minimum age of 12 years) or PADI Open Water Diver. Please check that you can answer “NO” to the questions on the Medical Statement before making your booking.

PADI ENRICHED AIR COURSE (Nitrox)

Included in this package is the PADI Enriched Air Diver Course, one of our most popular specialty courses. The course is classroom based and is incorporated into the PADI Advance Open Water Diver Course. Scuba diving with Enriched Air Nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive dives. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing to you, then don’t hesitate to become a PADI Enriched Air Diver.

You’ll learn why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time, along with enriched air equipment considerations. During a practical session, and an optional scuba dive, you’ll:

• Discuss managing oxygen exposure.
• Practice analysing oxygen content in your scuba tank.
• Set your dive computer for diving with Enriched Air Nitrox.

You will be using Enriched Air (Nitrox) on the last Open Water Dive of your PADI Advance Open Water Diver Course.
